Rector
The Rev. Carri Patterson Grindon joined the Saint Mark’s Community in September of 2009, and serves as Rector. She is delighted to be part of this warm and joyful parish, and loves sharing in the spiritual journey with all who come here, whether in worship, in study, at play, around a meal, or one-on-one in pastoral conversation. Pastor Carri was called to the priesthood while serving as a Youth Director at All Saints, Pasadena. After attending Yale/Berkeley Divinity School in New Haven, CT, she returned to Los Angeles in 1992, and served in parishes in San Gabriel and Camarillo. In 1999, she moved to Atlanta, GA, and spent ten years in ministry there. She is happy to be back in Southern California, and is enjoying living here with her husband Al and daughters Lucy (13) and Sophie (10). Associate Rector
The Rev. Betsy Hooper-Rosebrook joined the staff of St. Mark's Church in June, 1999. She serves as Chaplain to St. Mark's School and as Associate Rector in the church, sharing in all aspects of parish life. She is available for pastoral care, to discuss issues ranging from spirituality to family life, to support you in prayer, and to welcome you in worshipping with the St. Mark's Church family at any time. Mother Betsy graduated from The General Theological Seminary in New York City in 1987 and has served in parishes around the Diocese of Los Angeles. She is joined at St. Mark's by her husband and her two sons; her dog Finn often comes with her to the office. The lay staff includes:
- Diane Killgore - Music Director, who in addition to her oversight of the music program, directs the St. Mark's Choir (adult) and the Handbell Choir.
- Robert Killgore - Organist
- Jacqueline Dwight - Chorister Director
- David Key - Musician, 9 a.m. family service.
- Maria Horner - Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministry, (almost full time volunteer/part time staff), who leads a lay team of Sunday School teachers and Youth Group advisors.
Keeping the parish office running, we rely on an amazing staff of part timers:

There is, in addition, a part-time Sunday sexton, and a small group of office volunteers.
