Daughters of the King
Established at St. Mark's in 2001, DOK, "Blessed Women" is now 25 strong (including 3 junior members). The Daughters vow to practice a spiritual life of prayer, evangelism and service as viewed by each individual.
DOK, "Blessed Women" meet on the first Sunday of the month at 8:45 a.m. for their regular informational business meeting and to update the prayer. Also on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. to offer intercessions for those on the prayer list, to respond to other requests for prayers and thanksgivings which we receive from a wide venue of sources. The DOK also sponsor two Quiet Days annually.
The Daughters are not permitted to engage in "fundraising" so we rely on the generous thank offerings of those who have benefited from our prayers and service in order to carry on the work of the order.
Contact Debra A. Johnson through church@saintmarksaltadena.org for prayer requests or if you are interested in becoming a DOK. For More information on "The Order of The Daughter's of The King" check out our resources page for the links under Worship and Spirituality.
