In 2019 Nikole Hannah-Jones and The New York Times began a series which dramatically refocused the story of our nation on slavery and the contributions of Black Americans: The 1619 Project. The success of The 1619 Project led it to become a newly released Hulu series. Join us on Sunday mornings at 9am in the Brown Library as we watch the series together, followed by conversation. We'll talk about the findings, how they reshape our understanding and what it means for our communities going forward. Janette Allen and Marriane Wright will facilitate the series and help guide our discussion. Join us online here.

Our Talk Back Group has compiled a list of resources for Black History month which you can find here.
