Posted on:
May 6, 2023

Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the Brown Library as we continue to watch and discuss The 1619 Project. The Hulu series is based on the 2019 Nikole Hannah-Jones and The New York Times groundbreaking work, which dramatically refocused the story of our nation on slavery and the contributions of Black Americans. We're excited to return to the series and the insightful conversations it generated. Whether you've watched the whole series or are coming in fresh, please join us for this moving series and the rich discussion which is sure to follow.
