A Message from Kimberly Poli
I’m a music educator, classical singer and stage performer with a B.S. in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College and an M.M. in Voice Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory. Having previously served as a choir director and music teacher in Pennsylvania public schools, I currently teach private lessons in piano and voice to all ages in the Los Angeles area, and am engaged as alto soloist for All Saint’s Episcopal Church in Pasadena. As a professional singer, I’ve had long-term positions with the Schola Cantorum at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington D.C., Indianapolis Opera Chorus and Opera Ensemble, and Emmy Award winner Tim Brickley’s Jazz Quintet. I have a passion for opera performance, and enjoy performing principle roles with regional opera companies such as Opera Lancaster (PA), Loudoun Lyric Opera (VA) and Center Stage Opera (CA), as well as performing children’s opera with opera outreach programs like Guild Opera of Los Angeles. It’s such a blessing and a privilege to teach music literacy, and to help people express themselves with their most free and natural voice. I can’t wait to praise God with music, with the help of the children of Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church!
